Three Traditional Temple Deities

  1. The first, is the one presented to Sri Bashyakara (Ramanuja) by Goddess Saraswathi. It is the presiding deity of Sri Parakala Math, Mysore.
  2. The second is the diety in a yoga posture presented to Vedanta Desika by Garuda in Thiruvahindrapuram, which is in the Sanctum Sanctorum of Sri Devanatha swamy, Thiruvahindrapuram.
  3. The third Diety is on the hill at Thiruvahindrapuram and Swamy Desikar has composed a Hayagriva stotram on Him.
